We provide high-quality AAA services to aging individuals in Texas, particularly to individuals from low-income households.
The 28 local area agencies on aging (AAA) are in contact with the Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services (DADS) to help people age 60 and older. Their caregivers find the information needed to locate and access community services.
AAA provides non-technical in-home attendant services to people who have an approved medical need for assistance with personal care tasks. AAA is available to eligible people whose health problems cause them to be functionally limited in performing activities of daily living according to a practitioner’s statement of medical need.
